Wendy is responsible for recreation, leisure and heritage planning, and municipal organizational development. Wendy worked in municipal recreation departments for almost 20 years before joining dmA's consulting practice. She received her BA and MA in recreation from the University of Waterloo, is a past President of the Society of Directors of Municipal Recreation of Ontario, was a member of the team that created Parks and Recreation Ontario, and was a member of the founding Board of the (Leisure) Lifestyle Information Network. Wendy is responsible for developing dmA's Nova Scotia Office. She brings to her consulting activities a strong understanding of municipal operations, financial analysis, and political processes. She is a skilled facilitator with a deep commitment to assisting her clients to create healthy, active, cohesive and viable communities.
